Email

Email is the one channel you own. No algorithm sits between you and the inbox, and the list you build is yours to keep. The catch has always been infrastructure: verified domains, DNS records, bounce handling, reputation management — enough friction that founders postpone it for months or rent yet another subscription. GoShipFast builds the infrastructure into the product you already run.

What's here

Open Email inside a brand. The pipeline has two active stages, with more rolling out:

  • Setup — sending domains and DNS verification, reply forwarding, API keys, and inline API docs. Start here; nothing sends until a domain is verified (the banner will remind you). See Sending Domains.
  • Tracking — the unified ledger. History lists every message sent from any source — the API, automations, the product itself — with its status: queued, sent, opened, clicked, bounced, or failed. Inbound lists received mail and what happened to it (forwarded, failed, skipped). One place, every message accounted for.

Under the hood the platform also supports audiences (lists, recipients with custom attributes, CSV import, suppressions), templates with merge variables and test sends, and workflows (one-time, recurring, or triggered when someone joins a list, with email and wait steps). These are progressively appearing in the UI and are fully drivable through the API today.

Receiving, not just sending

A verified domain can also receive. Mail to any address at your domain forwards to your everyday inbox, and an optional webhook delivers inbound mail to your own systems as structured events. That turns hello@yourbrand.com from a wish into a five-minute setup. See Receiving & Forwarding.

What it costs (and why quotas exist)

Email sending is free of credits — you're not metered per message. Instead, plans set hard monthly and daily sending quotas, and the daily cap is deliberately a fraction of the monthly pool.

That shape is intentional. Inbox providers judge senders by behavior; a domain that suddenly blasts its whole monthly volume in an hour looks like a spammer and gets filtered for weeks. The quotas force the ramp that deliverability requires — they protect your domain's reputation, which is an asset you can't quickly buy back. Brands without a plan get a small allowance for transactional needs; plan quotas are listed on pricing.

Where to go

  1. Sending Domains — verify your domain (10 minutes, mostly DNS propagation).
  2. Receiving & Forwarding — turn on inbound and the webhook.
  3. Email API — send transactional mail and drive automations from your own code.
