FAQ

Billing

Why do I need a separate subscription for each brand?

Because everything meaningful — content, keywords, leads, email domains, analytics — belongs to one product with one website, a shared account-level plan would make usage impossible to reason about. Per-brand plans mean each product pays for what it uses and can sit on the tier it deserves. See Plans & Billing.

What happens when I hit a quota or run out of credits?

Nothing breaks silently. Quota ceilings show exactly which limit you hit; credit exhaustion pauses metered work until the month resets, you top up, or you upgrade. Diagnostics stay free regardless.

I have a Founder Pass — where is my discount?

It applies automatically at checkout on any brand's subscription, and your account settings show the pass. If a checkout doesn't reflect it, contact support.

Can I cancel any time?

Yes, from the brand's Settings → Subscription. The plan runs to the end of the paid period; the "cancels on" date is shown. Your data stays.

Content

Do I own the content GoShipFast writes?

Yes. Articles, posts, and images generated for your brand are yours — publish them anywhere, edit them freely, keep them if you leave. With git blog publishing, they literally live in your repository.

Will the articles read like AI wrote them?

That's what the pipeline is for. Articles are grounded in your knowledge base, pass through staged writing with real citations and a polish pass, and nothing publishes without your review. Publish only what you'd sign — the approval gate exists so that's always in your control.

What languages does the product support?

The interface ships in English, 简体中文, and 繁體中文. Generated content follows your site and instructions; article translations are managed per-locale in the studio.

Can I write articles myself instead of using AI?

Of course. The Article Studio is a full editor; use the pipeline's stages selectively (citations only, illustrations only) or not at all. Distribution, scheduling, and analytics don't care who wrote the words.

Customers & leads

Where do leads come from?

From public activity across social platforms and the open web — people asking for recommendations, complaining about alternatives, describing the problem you solve. Every lead carries its evidence: a quote linked to the source post, so you verify with one click. See Lead Discovery.

Why is a lead's email locked?

Contact details unlock per lead (free brands get 5 unlocks to evaluate quality). Discovery bills per verified person delivered, and unlocking is part of that model — see Credits & Metering.

Is contacting these people okay?

The leads are people who publicly expressed a need. One well-researched, personally relevant message referencing what they actually said is normal networking; spraying a list is spam and poisons your domain. That's why Reach is being built around personal notes with unsubscribe, not blasts.

Email

Why can't I send my whole monthly volume today?

Deliverability. Inbox providers filter domains that spike; the daily quota enforces the ramp that keeps your domain's reputation intact. It's protection, not friction.

Will connecting email break my existing Google Workspace / other provider?

No — DKIM records are additive and don't touch your provider's mail flow. The caveats worth reading are the single-SPF/DMARC rule in Sending Domains, and MX considerations before enabling receiving.

Platforms

Why does Xiaohongshu / Threads publishing involve extra steps?

Neither has a public publishing API. GoShipFast gets you as close as possible — managed login sessions, fully adapted content, a 3-step helper (copy, download images, post) — and on desktop a managed browser can drive the publish. See Connecting Each Platform.

Do the social data sources need accounts too?

No. The read side — search, comments, profiles, trends across 16+ platforms for chat and lead discovery — is built in, no connection needed. Only publishing needs connected accounts.

Data & account

What does deleting a brand delete?

Everything scoped to it: content, keywords, leads, contacts, knowledge files, analytics. The danger-zone dialog requires typing the brand name because it's permanent. Export anything you want to keep first.

Where does my data live between desktop and web?

One account, one backend — desktop and web are two views of identical live data. The desktop app never stores your password; it holds a session issued through browser login.
