Marketing Plan

Marketing plans fail by being documents: forty pages, written once, opened never. The format GoShipFast uses — the 1-Page Marketing Plan, from Allan Dib's book of the same name — survives because it fits on one screen and answers concrete questions. GoShipFast drafts it for you and keeps it live.

The canvas

Knowledge → Marketing Plan shows a 3×3 grid, three phases by three questions:

Before — turning strangers into prospects:

  1. Target Market — who, precisely. Everyone is nobody.
  2. Message — what you say that makes them look up.
  3. Media — which channels carry it to them.

During — turning prospects into customers:

  1. Lead Capture — how interest leaves a name.
  2. Lead Nurturing — what happens between interest and readiness.
  3. Sales Conversion — how ready becomes paid.

After — turning customers into advocates:

  1. World-Class Experience — what makes them glad they bought.
  2. Customer Lifetime Value — how a customer grows over time.
  3. Referrals — how one customer becomes two.

Each square carries drafted content plus concrete action bullets — not "improve conversion" but the specific next moves for your product, grounded in your market analysis and knowledge base.

Working with it

  • Generate marketing plan — first draft in minutes; one is also created at brand setup.
  • Update report — conversational refinement in chat: tell the agent what changed or what you disagree with, square by square.
  • Regenerate — start fresh after a strategy shift. Generation costs 100 credits (details).

How the plan maps to the product

The plan isn't advice floating above the tools — the squares point at features that execute them:

A useful monthly ritual: open the canvas, and for each square ask "did we do this last month?" The squares that keep answering no are either wrong (edit them) or your actual priority (do them). Either answer moves you.
