Quick Start
Most growth tools hand you a dashboard and wish you luck. GoShipFast works the other way around: you hand it a URL, and it starts working. This guide walks through your first session, which is mostly watching the system set itself up.
1. Sign up and create a brand
Sign up at goshipfast.com or in the desktop app. The first thing you'll see is a single form:
- Website domain — your product's site. This is the only required field.
- Brand name — optional. Leave it blank and GoShipFast reads it from your site.
Click Start getting customers. That's the whole setup.
A brand is the unit everything else lives in: its content, keywords, leads, email domains, and its own subscription. If you run two products, you create two brands. See Core Concepts for how brands, plans, and credits relate.
2. Watch the setup run
The moment your brand exists, an automated setup chain starts. You'll see its progress on the brand Dashboard:
- Scanning your website — reads your pages and discovers subpages.
- Building your brand profile — extracts what you sell, who it's for, and how you describe it. This becomes the foundation every other feature works from.
- Running an SEO audit — checks performance, metadata, structure, and crawlability. See Site Audit.
- Running an AI visibility audit — checks whether AI search engines can find and quote you. See AI Visibility.
- Discovering keywords — builds your first keyword pool.
In the background it also generates three working documents: a market analysis, a marketing plan, and a content analysis of what your site already covers. They land in Knowledge, and later features quote them constantly.
All of this runs on every new brand, including free ones, and none of it costs anything. Diagnostics are always free.
3. Read your first article draft
Setup finishes by picking a topic worth writing and drafting a complete long-form article: outline, body, citations, polish, and illustrations. Every new brand gets one article free.
Find it under Content → Drafts. Open it in the Article Studio, read it, edit anything you like, and approve it when it reads right. Articles never publish without your approval.
4. Meet your first leads
Setup also queues one lead discovery run. Open Customers → Find to see the result: real people showing buying signals for a product like yours, each with a match score, the reason they matched, and a quoted piece of evidence linking to the source post.
Free brands can preview 20 leads and unlock contact details for 5 of them, enough to judge the quality before paying anything. See Lead Discovery for how runs work.
5. Connect a platform and publish
To ship the approved article or a short post:
- Go to Publishing and connect a platform. X and LinkedIn take one OAuth click; see Connecting Each Platform for the rest.
- From a draft, open the multi-platform preview to see how each platform will render it, tweak per-platform variants, and publish.
- For your own blog, the desktop app can write the article into your site's repository and push it live. See Publishing to Your Blog.
6. Where to go next
- Let the system keep proposing topics weekly: Weekly Topic Picks
- Install the tracking snippet so conversions get attributed to content: Analytics
- Send email from your own domain: Email
- Understand what's free and what's metered: Credits & Metering
Note: paid features (AI chat, image generation, ongoing lead discovery) unlock with a plan. The free run above is a complete taste of the system so you can judge it on output, not promises.
